IN A NUTSHELL: Playing against a Lions team minus one of their best player (Ethan Anderson, sore knee), the Knights were in front of the Lions by 18 points after one quarter and by 25 (46-21) at intermission to continue to cruise to a Top 4 seed in the CIF Southern Section Open Division playoffs.

TURNING POINT:  There was no single “turning point”, per se – the Knights were clearly the superior team from Jump Street.

RESPECTIVE STANDOUTS: BM – Oregon State-bound Ethan Thompson scored 26 points with six rebounds and six assists. F – Junior guard Jamal Hartwell scored 16 of his 24 points in the third quarter.

UPDATED RECORDS: Bishop Montgomery 20-2. Fairfax 19-2

UP NEXT: Bishop Montgomery (Wednesday, at Serra). Fairfax (Monday, vs. L.A. University).
