Alemany Puts Santa Monica Away Early, Wins 85-65

IN A NUTSHELL: The Warriors broke out to a 10-zip advantage while knocking off Santa Monica for the second time this season (including a consolation championship victory in the Classic at Damien). Too much size/too much jump shooting.

TURNING POINT:  Six-11 junior Fred Odihiambo blocked five shots and grabbed six rebounds for Alemany in a first quarter that ended with the Warriors up, 23-9. Game, set, match.

RESPECTIVE STANDOUTS: A – 6-4 Ernie Sears scored 25 points (including three 3s). SM – 6-5 junior De’sean Allen-Eikens scored 24 points.

UPDATED RECORDS: Alemany 19-3. Santa Monica 15-7.
